The Murdre Collective was a band of wayward misfits. road warriors. and most importantly songwriters. we met up at Camp Crow's Nest. at the kerrville folk festival in 2007. a flock of crows is a murder. have you ever been around a flock of crows? at first there were a handful of us. we sang til dawn many nights. harmonizing over each others songs. falling in love. making lasting friendships. all around the fire. the piercing stars above juniper trees. 

many of the artists represented here are a fragment of the collective. a year later Elam Blackman started constant clip records. he wanted to make something lasting for all his friends. there are a few of us absent from constant clip who we consider to be part of the family. check out TREVOR REICHMAN, BRIAN QTN, among them.
